So, at 6:59 my sister sends me an email and gives me a link to a zoom party light candle party which started at 7and asks if I want to attend//. I said, well I might have if I had had a little notice. I just got back, we were out to eat. She said, oh well I just remembered it myself...sigh. she said you can still come, it's still going on. So, I buzz in she is gone, and there are just people I don't know on there. I said Oh hi, where are the candles? She said...oh well I will put them in the chat link. Anyway, yeah, great party! lol. She thinks I live online and am available at the drop of a hat. I am online alot, but I do other things as well. Well, I guess it is the thought that counts!

@BelleStarr Yes, it would be nice if computers had smell a vision...maybe sometime in our lifetimes...who knows?

I mean maybe if it had been promoted or you got a free gift for attending or a door prize.

I haven't tried this. I prefer chatting in a group online.

She had forgot about the party. It was kind to invite you anyway.

She is someone always going in a million different directions with a jam packed agenda. We are kind of opposites.

@snowy22315 Some people don't feel right unless they're run off their feet.

I had to look up what a zoom party was. One minute invitation is cutting it close.

Virtual parties can be fun, but that does not sound like one. At least you find humor in that one. I hate to admit this but sometimes when I have to go and jump off a Zoom party, I would pretend that I have a crappy connection, especially if I already tried to tell them that I need to go somewhere else since the zoom meeting is taking longer than what was initially communicated. Then they will hold me off and say just a few more minutes.

I like the ones where you can join by phone, and no one knows or cares if you leave.
