Painting on an Illustration Board

It seems that my niece's art teacher is becoming demanding. The painting projects started using white bond papers. Now, it needs an illustration board. Later on, he might ask to paint on a canvass. If it happens, it seems that he is making things hard for us. It is not cool to keep on walking around the city to get school supplies with this pandemic.
Should I complain about this matter?
Do you like my niece's work of art?

He should have an idea of what will be needed if not for the whole year at least for several months at a time. And then let you pick up all our many of the supplies at one time.
Are they affordable to get several at once?

@Shavkat it wouldn't hurt to talk with the teacher about your concerns.

From what I can see, she's very talented. No, I don't think you should complain about this matter. Teachers have it hard enough as it is. If you are not comfortable traveling around your city, then start ordering supplies online and see if you can buy in bulk.

@Shavkat
Have you tried talking to her teacher? Not to complain, but to see if he can share a schedule so you can prepare?

@kaylachan I haven't talked to the teacher. I guess I need to talk to him first.

I like that painting. Yeah the teacher should have told everything that is needed for the class before the class started.

Yeah, I think the painting if fine, but I wouldn't want to be out and about with the pandemic getting worse.

did she use any reference to paint this or she conceptualized it herself? it's very good for her age.
is the teacher requiring everyone to use the illustration board or just your niece?
