Happy Monday. I just got back home after going to the Y for my Monday exercise class. I stopped at the grocery store on the way home to get a couple of things. I bought mostly things that were on sale. But prices are quite a lot higher at this local IGA than at Big Y.
Our lawn people came today and removed all those beautiful gold leaves. Trees are empty so I think this is the end for us.
I am not sure what I am making for dinner yet. I had some lemon hummus when I got home because I didn't eat any lunch before I left. I bought some steak, chicken, hot dogs, and smoked sausage at the store. I was thinking of making shrimp and rice for dinner but I think maybe I will make the steak for Al.
It was a beautiful sunny day today with a temperature at 52 degrees. Nothing much exciting going on in my world, anything exciting in yours?
The picture is a plaza in Lisbon Portugal, I loved those purple trees.

I was there for my birthday which was nice. I hope you get to go, its a great place for an anniversary. Maybe Al and I will get to celebrate ours this year.

I like those purple trees too. Are they really trees or large bushes?
I had a salad for supper and my popcorn for lunch. I'm ready for a protein bar but may have to wait as I don't plan on getting it myself as my foot finally quit hurting.

Thanks at least for the moment but they are tightening up the regulations at the Y and if it gets too much worse I am afraid they ill close it down

@BelleStarr Same here. I hate this weather. It's supposed to warm up into the 50s for a few days. That will be nice.

perfect autumn day here 't 72 degrees 'n barely a breeze. 've been out most 'f the day tendin' schtuff. 's ya say, leaves mostly gone. 've taken 'dvantage 'f said weather, out'n tank top, reclaimin' real 'state.

I am planning to be lazy today, just a plan tho. With 3 kids, I can't be lazy.

Those are lovely purple trees. Hope to see those in person someday. Well, since I am working all day, I seldom have the time to visit the grocery. It's more difficult nowadays because malls and stores close earlier.

It is, we happened upon a street festival with dancing right near our hotel and it made our evening. Since my husband is 100% Portuguese I expected him to start dancing, the music is in his soul.
