Throwback Thursday and Extremely Worried

The photo has nothing to do with this discussion. Well, maybe a little. It was taken on our first trip to Hawaii. We were at a luau in Oahu, and as you can see, I was leid.
Flowers go on the left side of your hair if you are married or in a relationship. On the right if you are up for grabs, I believe.
It seems that some men don’t care where you wear your flower..
Anyway, hubs and I are a bit worried about our younger son. He had 3 office meetings last week, with masks and social distancing, but one of his workers came down Covid-19 this week.
His barber, whom he sees every 2 weeks also came down with it. Our son had an appointment to see him tomorrow.
So, we are concerned and worried, obviously. Only time will tell.

Shoot, I would be worried too. I went to Oahu once and got to go to a luau. It was cool. I don't remember the detail you seem to though.

@DianneN It was fun, but that whole trip was rush, rush...we werent in Hawaii that long..and all we did was rush around... I want to go the big island. That is for real on my bucket list. I need to plan my where to go after virus and decide where to go.

Neither of us would want that to happen to our kids or family or friends.
Didn't you love Oahu? It had everything lovely about it. I remember that luau so well. It was 3/4 of the way around the island and near a hotel President Kennedy stayed in. Once it got dark, we ate, and saw an amazing show with hula dancers. A dream come true!

@snowy22315 We were in Oahu for 10 days, so had plenty of time to relax, do a few sightseeing tours, hang ten - lol - not really. etc. The next time we went to Maui which was so different, but so beautiful. I'd like to go the the Big Island and Kuai in the future. We should go together!

Hope you can visit Hawaii some day. We loved Oahu so much that we went back to try Maui. It was also beautiful. Would love to try some of the other islands one day.
My son feels well so far, but we are praying he doesn’t develop any symptoms.

I've been to Hawaii but I don't think I've ever been to a luau.
He is not going to the barber now I hope. And hopefully he is covid-free.
My brother-in-law wasn't feeling well and turns out he got covid. I wonder if he went for a second test. Sometimes the results are false-positive.

Where in Hawaii did you go? I'm sure you'd remember a luau.
No, the barber is home sick with the virus. No barber for him, but his hair is so short, that I'd like to see it grow a bit longer. Thanks. I pray that my son doesn't come down with it. He's been so careful throughout this pandemic.
I'm sorry about your BIL. I hope he is doing well now.

@DianneN We've been to Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, Maui. Don't remember where else. I know we had a cruise from Honolulu around Hawaii.

@DianneN Next Friday is my FIL's birthday. Not sure what's gonna happen. His brother should definitely stay home. Not sure about us. If his parents were exposed to him I am not sure I want hubby and I to go see his dad.

You are too kind. Leid is right! Isn't it obvious?
Yes, thanks. He is in quarantine now, just in case. I have a dough hook for his Kitchen Aid mixer that he asked for, because his girlfriend wanted to make a bread for Friendsgiving tomorrow. I guess I should put it away.

It's ok. It's like any other State but have snow only at mountaintops on Big Island and sometimes Maui mountaintops. We make snow angles in the sand build sand castles. Paradise is from the heart...if you've family & love it's paradise.

I understand the concerned feeling to your son. Life is not easy this days even if those vaccines are out and available still we have to be careful. I hope everything will be ok over there. Stay safe always

I will pray your son and you and your family remain safe. People say that the masks do their job... I've known of some school age kids who had someone come down with covid in their class , and yet they remained well. But I know the worry that must bring still.
Oh that's interesting. It seems there are a number of things where - where you wear it means different things.
You're beautiful there and beautiful. I knew you reminded me of someone - and now I know who. You remind me of actress Edie Falco! :-)

That's a lovely photo of you!
I'd be concerned about your son too.
We've also been seeing many positive Covid cases here, in people we know.
