I was answering my notifications when thearth started to move. In my country you never know how big an earthquake is going to be so I always run, in part because I dread them. I was here (very far thanks br given) when the big Valdivia earthquake hit my country. It is still after 60 years, the biggest earthquake ever recorded. I live in the first floor and the glass door to the garden is called "the door of the earthquakes". Today I was already installed in my bed ready to mylot. I had closed the house and turned on thr alarm. And then the lamp started to move and the bell like stone from Brazil started to sound. I got up trembling, turned off the alarm, opened the door and went out to the garden. It wasn´t a big one but it scared me. They always do. I still haven´t set the alarm.

@marguicha Are these earthquakes originating in Andean mountains?

Luna does not worry. But other dogs in the neighborhood bark.

Earthquakes are scary we had a one big one in 2011 and a series of aftershocks that were scarier than the original quake!

Yes one never knows when one gets a big earthquake. We live in seismic zone 4, next to the Himalayas, and though the quakes' impact is not as powerful, the 2015 Nepal Earthquake did make people rush out of houses and Office buildings and some damages too were observed.

Here in my region, there were recorded quakes already in the past weeks and I hope that there will be no greater than that in the coming days like last year as we are shaken by a successive earthquakes.

Oh so sorry to hear about that. I am glad that for tge past several months we only experience a very mild shaking that it was not that serious. I also dread earthquake since it is really a terrifying to experience. I would rather choose typhoons over earthquakes.
