I am not happy with the lower quality of supplies and groceries I got due to frugal living .
I will revert back to P&G's Joy dishwashing. But I will have to consume first the cheaper brand I bought. I am so dissatisfied. It is wasteful and doesn't remove grease.
I will focus more on not having food spoilage and not buying things. But the necessities I will buy the quality ones.

@yoalldudes we need constant quality check of different brands to see which one has a better quality with reasonable price

It is good to be frugal especially this pandemic times. You don't have to resort to buying expensive branded detergents. Sometimes, all you have to do is to soak first the greasy parts with a little rock salt ant vinegar. After a while, the grease will be off.

Best to choose quality. I'm trying to limit food spoilage as well. Not really a fan of brand loyalty but if I like a brand, most likely I'll stick to it.

@yoalldudes true.
You don't need to spend too much on getting quality.

True. There are other areas I can save on without sacrificing quality.

That would be good to be an endorser for a product

I will make a lot of financial adjustments but not compromise on quality. That brings dissatisfaction and stress. And that's not worth for saving a bit.

Ah, this is just like my experience. I bought cheaper brand, it didn't remove the grease, didn't have any foam, so I used almost twice amount of my normal dishwasher soap. I was really disappointed. So I got back to my favorite brand. Wasting money and wasting energy.

That is true not everything can really help you since they are also made poorly so they do not meet your expectation. There is nothing bad with frugality but there are times that we need to evaluate things too to get what we wanted and that means you have to consider the price for it.

That is my lesson learned for this year.

It's always best to know where to spend money and where to save it. At least, I think so. I've learned, cheep isn't always better. Now you know what brand works best for you.

That is a good idea. I have to be on the lookout for those.

there are people who like using the paste for removing grease. but the problem is they use a lot then don't rinse thoroughly so streaks of paste remain. i use both, each have their uses. i'm also careful/conscientious. i don't do it haphazardly.

I would not like to have to deal with remains of paste.

@yoalldudes i also soak anything that's oily or greasy in water and vinegar first before washing them.

@hereandthere It must be really effective. But then you will have to pay the extra cost for vinegar. Is a teaspoon enough.

Why did you buy the inferior quality of supplies and groceries? Sometimes cost saving is wasting money.

That is true. Lesson learned. I made a post of these efforts in the past.
