Thinking About Adding Milk Into My Diet

Milk is a useful drink but I dislike drinking milk from many years but now I feel I should have milk in the evening in place of usual tea or coffee and that will be a better option because milk does provide the required calcium to our body. Tea or coffee cannot replace the richness of milk. Do you take Milk daily? At what time you drink Milk? If you don't take, do you have plans to start taking it?

@Butterfingers - cocoa can be good - especially if it is raw cocoa with a lot of antioxidants

I only add a little milk to my coffee sometimes, I prefer cheese and yogurt for calcium.

Sounds good, might help to avoid the acidity in coffee..

@buenavida Coffee is a lot more healthy without milk, this is why I usually avoid to mix the two.

Maybe, because you don't like milk much, you are lactose intolerant. I have several friends who can't cope with a lot of dairy products. Maybe you could take a supplement or find other foods rich in calcium. Yoghurt, eggs and some green vegetables are all good sources.

Some like to add milk or cream to coffee, as the coffee is supposes to be acidic - I like to use yogurt with fruit before coffee and it can lower the acidity and helps to get the good bacteria to digest the food too.

I drink my 3in1 latte from Anlene. It's high with calcium. I start drinking it for a while. Need to take care of my bones better.

That's good. There are other products available in the market which we can take with milk and they are helpful for our bones

I drink a glass of milk almost daily. Typically in the evening or Early morning. It just depends on the day, and what I'm doing. I do drink a protine shake for "breakfast" (really before bed) with my medicine.

though i have lactose intolerance, i took a cup of warm milk this breakfast. the milk is powdered non-fat milk. i should take a cup every 2 days as a laxative sine i am prone to having constipation due to reduced water intake.
