If a loved one was having a heart attack, would you know what to do ? call 911 isn't enough, that takes time, and sometimes you don't have time...

The Heart Association lists the following steps that someone should do if they are with a person experiencing even a possible heart attack:
Call 9-1-1.
Chew aspirin. (162 mg to 325 mg)
Put a nitroglycerin tablet under your tongue. (if the person has the medication)
Have the address of the nearest hospital with emergency cardiac care facilities readily available.
Keep a list of medication you are taking and/or ones you are allergic to.

there are places which teach you the basics of first aid I suggest you get in contact with your local hospital and find out where the nearest place is.

I know most shopping places stock the equipment that vastly improves recovery rates. Though no, I personally wouldn't know what to do. I intend to find out now though!
