To Forgive

Probably the friend with whom you cut all ties is reflecting back on her misdeeds at home. Probably your dad with whom you had a conflict of interest wants you to come back to him. Probably the man down the alley is rooting for your forgiveness. Probably everyone whom you didn't forgive fervently hopes that you can forgive them too.
In life you get choices between love and hate, embrace and rejection and peace and conflict. I hope you make the right choice.

The once-upon-a-time friends I severed relations with had been given more chances to become better friends. They failed. No regrets on my part.
Same with relatives who never did want to meet more than half way, blood ties ain't bonding, it's the heart that counts.
Each of us has only one life to live, we do not become better persons enduring sufferance from people uncaring and cold.
Forgiveness is given to those who ask for it. In the meantime.....
There are a million other souls needing our love. We give it to them who deserve our love.

@Dreamerby Forgiveness can easily be given if the offender sincerely asks for it.

Forgiveness is very important, though most people do not undersand its importance. The main reason why there have been so many wars in this world is nothing but the lack of forgiveness in man.
