I buy all the foods for the whole month: meats, fish and seafoods and some frozen goods. Rice, which is our staple food, last us for 6 months. one sack of rice i meant.

I also plan to be sure not to spend too much. We usually spend about € 280 for a month, sometimes a little less.

Food expenses actually vary from place to place. It is always more expensive in the city than the rural communities. Just do not overspend while marketing. Make a list before you go to the grocery. Make the food last for the week according to budget.

I am living free so i don't budget haha.. But now that me and husband will live independently then i have to do budgeting and meal planning as well. It's a good idea.

I make a list on what to buy. Normally I would spend almost RM50 on food per week. It's enough for three people.

I spend around $ 35 / week for meals (two adults, one teenager and 2 kids under 5). I don't really plan anything. I open the fridge and get an idea for that day.
