OMG! My Neighbor Is Positive :-(

Today, I finally found out that my neighbor is COVID-19 positive. She is a pregnant woman. According to a gossiper, she was confirmed positive after having a swab test in her office. The good thing is she didn't go home after being confirmed. So it does need to be panicky. There are two policemen outside their house. The reason is that two kids and a nanny are left there. The husband is not here, too. I assumed he was having 14 days quarantine in another place. The policemen are taking charge of the kiddies. The sad part, the mother is due to have her baby this week. How would you feel about this scenario? Image Credit: macaunews.mo

I am sorry for your neighbor, but I am sure her baby will be fine. In Italy there were several women positive who gave birth and the babies were healthy.

At the back of my mind, she must be so strong to withstand the virus and recovered fast. I also wish that the baby is fine after giving birth.

Yes, it is. I am not sure what's the update. My mom overheard that the daughter was crying this morning. According to her, the mother seems weak at this point.

The distance is not near the house. However, we need to wear face masks and face shields at all times. I felt bad for the family, too.

@Shavkat So dont forget to wash your hands and wear masks. I buy groceries online now because of people like this:

@CaptAlbertWhisker I had seen some articles that showed the violent reactions from these anti-maskers. The good thing is no anti-maskers in our country.

It is really disturbing to hear such kind of stories. Especially when the one concerned is within the area. I hope the mother would recover soon.

The authorities were not that transparent about this matter. At first, they claimed that no one is infected with this family.

I hope she is ok and she should stay away for the kids safety. But other than that I would not mind seeing her go home. You would be safe as long as you did not visit with her.

When she was confirmed to have it from her office, she was not allowed to go home. The course of action is to ask assistance from the local policemen to stay with the kids. You are right that we do not need to worry about. We never did visit her place since they moved here.
