i have not responded to the message and it's now 9:32 pm which means it's been a lot of hours, i really don't know what to say and it's because i never expected this from someone, in life i always remind myself expect the unexpected and you will always be fine but right now am not okay because i'm lost for words.
people do say i'm a good person, that isn't the surprise , the surprise is the person who actually said it to me.
what would you respond to this message with if you were in my shoes?

That's a lovely message to receive. I would just respond with a 'thank you' and that you appreciate the person taking the time to say it.

How well do you know the person? I would be careful if he's given you trouble in the past. If you say anything at all, just a simple thank you should be more than enough.

Then I would leave him as he is I am also used to people taking a change of mind and I leave them there with that to please themselves.

I would say you probably right most people only know you when they want something.It's good you see me for who I am.
