A Gift from an Anonymous Sender

I received a package today, but it has no sender's name other than the name of the shop where it came from. It's a Garrett popcorn holiday mix. There is just a small card that says Merry Christmas, but no indication of who it's from. I decided to look for the store online - they are based in Chicago (I do not know anyone from there) and this tin of popcorn mix is $50! My husband and I took a small bite and oh my goodness, it's dangerously delicious. I can just tell this is loaded with calories, but it explodes in your mouth better than a kettle corn mix. I wish I have an idea of who sent this to me. This is such a generous gesture, I feel so lucky and loved.

I was totally surprised! I thought my husband ordered it but he swore up and down that he did not even know that such store exists.

How lucky you are. Is it possible that it is a way of promotion from the popcorn seller?

I am also looking at that possibility. I have the number of their customer service in the label. I might give them a call. I told my husband not to throw the box away just yet.

It is nice if we can know the sender. It is a good blessing though.

It is, and not only because it’s expensive. It’s the gesture and thought that comes with it, that I am remembered that makes me feel appreciative.

@Shavkat Yes, after everything that we have been through this year, I hope we continue to be blessed, and hopefully more so we can also share the blessings to those who can use it more.

I don't even know where to start asking. I know a lot of people at work that I have established very good working relationships with, I have a few close friends outside of work, and other than my family nobody else.

It is very expensive, that is why I keep looking at the name on the package to make sure that it is really for me. My husband even helped me check the whole box to see if there is a card or note that I missed, so I can at least thank the sender. But no luck.

@Cheyee THat must have been the sender's plan and wish all along, is to remain anonymous. I'll be able to send you some, whatever is my husband is willing to partake - he said since I am married to him, then this is now conjugal property.

@Raine38 if that person send it anonymously, that's mean he/ she doesn't want you to know the identity, right? Just savor it and send me some
