I had some spray paint left so I went into my one of my bedrooms and worked on the wall. Whoopsie. I need a know it all helper to come with more paint and do the job right and well. For now I will wait until I go to the hardware and either buy another can of paint or a brush and a small can of paint and see if brushing paint on the wall does a better job.
I also bought a better curtain for the room. I think I can manage to take the old mess down and put another up. That task should be doable by me.
The weather outside is balmy for the middle of December. Crazy above freezing temperatures but I am NOT griping. I see scads of sparrows zipping by so they are also loving the above normal warmth. I will still need a jacket and hat but its not icy or snowed up. Sparrows, magpies, ducks and geese on the water below. Cheery and welcome.

I will take balmy in December anytime! Like you, I am also not too crafty, but not for lack of trying. I actually like crafts, but crafts don't like me back. I have tried cross stitching - failed. I have tried painting and wire jewelry - also failed. Now I have moved on to crocheting, so far, it is still too early to call it a fail.

@RebeccasFarm I hope you get my freezing cold, then. Freezing cold makes me think of ice and bad car rides and the possibilty of me falling.

Our temps can only be classified as horrid. As for birds, finally we moved somewhere with lots of cardinals!! We have more of them than Blue Jays!!

@Hate2Iron I'd love to see red cardinals feeding in the snow. Must be lovely.

You're spray painting your walls? I know people use paint sprayers with can paint but never heard of can spray. What are you trying to do? One wall a different color? In the spring I'll get my patching done and paint my tiny kitchen walls, put wood on two living room walls and maybe one in the bedroom. It's been pouring rain with lots of wind. We've had flooding too. Rivers are way up.

If'n I could do the job still I would be happy to drop by. These days though you'd be asking for trouble if you let me in the door. LOL
But I have faith in you.
