Because of Covid it took a year

I have been doing the normal doctor visits, via phone, for a year, I have not been sick at all its only for the diabetes check ups. The problem was not being able to get a blood test, I got cancelled every time the order was sent in and appointment set, so I told the doctor and this time I got in.
Took me 2 weeks of returning the doc call to finally get the numbers. I know the old was over a year ago but that is okay and what she used to compare this one to.
My red blood and white blood count was perfect. Liver function is perfect. Kidney function good. Cholesterol was up, however, it was down from last test. My A1C is what I am proud of, it was 7.4 over a year ago and now its down to a 6.3.
To get the cholesterol down I chose diet and exercise over taking a pill. The doc was happy with that.
It took a year but all is still good..

That is wonderful, keep up the good work. My bloodwork was all good the last time I got it. I cheated a little bit though, and ate all veg the week before.

That is very good news, even though it took that long because of what's going on.

Don’t you hate having to put everything on hold because of COVID?
At least you got your checkup and the news was GREAT!!!!!

Awesome report Angie. I find it amazing your doctor approved your diet change verses taking pills for your cholesterol. My doctor insists on the pill saying diet won't help. I proved him wrong by going with diet and getting an independent labs done that showed great results. Now my doctor doesn't want to see me anymore. That's okay though, I don't want to see him either.
