All I want for Christmas...

...the vaccines. It's not too late to wish for this Christmas season. I don't want anything but to have these vaccines for people who are wishing to live without fear on Earth. I'm not into tangible things as Christmas presents this time. Are you wishing the same thing? Do you still have fear with these vaccines? Image Credit: gatornews.org

I do not get the flu vaccine either @Shavkat They can only create a vaccine for what has already afflicted people not for the mutated forms that could appear at a later time.

@rebelann I heard about it. In the UK, they are claiming there is another strain of this virus.

I can feel that you are still in doubt of its effectiveness. If it was being declared good by WHO, I will be fine with it.

@Cheyee I heard that my country is asking for vaccines from China. I don't trust them, too.

@Shavkat we imported it from China, and 1 person need 4 injections. I am not sure if common people like me can get it free or we have to pay for it. I will consider to take it if it's not from China.i don't hate China, but I can't trust them

I would be happy if it took a lot longer to produce them. I would be happy, if people would stop promoting fear. Do you know how many deadly viruses exist today? How far we've come as far as medical science is concerned? Why would you want to rush a process that takes typically two or three years at best to develop properally? Why would you consider it safe, in less than a year's time? And, why would you willingly inject yourself with the very virus you're supposedly afraid of?

For me, I considered it safe if the WHO declared it so. But then, @kaylachan I am worried that my country is seeking help and avail the vaccines from China. I honestly not confident in this matter. I prefer if it comes from Pfizer that had proven the effectiveness of their vaccines. I am not being biased about this, but it should be researched thoroughly and not be rushed in administering them.

Well, the vaccines are here. So, wish granted. Granted, they are being selectively distributed at the moment, but I think this is being done smartly. It makes sense that first responders and those in healthcare and those most likely to die from it are the first to be able to get the vaccinations. As for me getting one? Nope. Not going to.

In my country we're getting them very soon. I will certainly get one because of my age. I only hope that people who get the shot are aware of the possibility that they can still infect other people and therefor hold their distance.

I am glad that they are there now. I also anticipate that young kids and senior citizens will be prioritized to have them here.

I would definitely wish for things to slowly, but surely start going in a better direction with people being healthy and businesses being able to recover from this pandemic. I just want peace, unity and good health.

I am sure the majority of the people around the globe want these situations. I missed the old days, but I need to embrace the changes and hoping this pandemic will end the soonest.
