We Both Had The Answer

Every year I and my Christian friends celebrate Christmas atop a hillock.at the outskirts of our town. But this year is different.Corona has spoiled all festivals. Today morning James came to me and asked, "What about our picnic and bonfire this year??" Every year we enjoy a picnic around a bonfire atop the hillock. I asked him back," Do you think it can be possible this year??" He was silent. He knew the answer. There was a sad smile on his face. Quietly we shook hands and left for our houses.

So many things get cancelled this year. I hope that you will be able to celebrate Christmas together next year. This Christmas will be very different and many families had to change their Christmas plans.

@Shivram59 Yes, this Christmas is very different. We are allowed to invite a few visitors, but big groups aren't allowed so many families had to change their plans this year. We usually sing Christmas songs, but singing isn't allowed this year ( we can only hum with our mouths closed) I like to sing, but this year we just listen to Christmas songs on YouTube.

@Porcospino You are absolutely right. Here all my Christian friends will celebrate the festivals behind closed doors.Corona has spoiled all festivals.Memories of Diwali this year still haunt me.It was a very dull DiwalI. Christmas too this year will not be different.

@Shivram59 no the human wont defeat it, it will just fade away like other virus do, I don't think this year will be the last of it, most of viruses from the past are still around and just contained

@ricotivi It's a complicated type of virus, and will stay with us ,as I have read, for at least 7 years. The new virus is 70 times more dangerous than the one now wrecking havoc on the world.More other strains are still there. We must be very very careful about it.
