Shared Prayers are Treasures Stolen by Satan-in-Disguise

2nd Corinthians 11:14 says that Satan "disguises himself as an angel of light."

That's why I'm frequently 'trying to tell the disagreeable truth' to friends who "make prayer-requests" on Facebook-etc.---because--when you pray in public--your requests are actually heard-&-answered (or -denied) by "the god of this world" (even if you intend for it to be heard by Our Heavenly Father). Oh, I'm sure you know lots of Bible-verses that say your prayer is being heard by 'The Holy Spirit of Our Heavenly Father'--Actually, I can think of a couple that tell us how MOST of your prayers AREN'T 'heard by Our Heavenly Father.' https://bibleresources.org/how-not-to-pray/ (Tho the link doesn't give the one verse I know that tells you where public prayers DO go ... "The god of this world/age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." (2 Corinthians 4:4)) But a) people 'making prayer-requests' aren't looking to "Give Glory to Our Heavenly Father" so much as they're 'looking for treasures in the world (which Our Heavenly Father certainly wishes them to have),' and b) "ruining their wishes" like that just makes me look like a ... i dunno, "trouble-maker"? "Rabble-rouser"? The best thing to do would be to follow Lord Jesus' example ... not the one He gave when reacting to 'people buying & selling sacrifices-etc. in The Temple' but His example given when His disciples woke Him up because they were scared of the wind and waves out on the stormy lake--- He simply assured them that things would calm down, reminding them the way a magician reminds audiences that the rabbit's going to come out of the hat ... by giving instructions out-loud TO "the hat" (Jesus to "the lake").

I find prayer requests on social media absolutely ridiculous. I can't imagine anyone doing this in my country or any other European country nor anyone following such a request.

“when you pray in public--your requests are actually heard-&-answered (or -denied) by "the god of this world"” My goodness @mythociate , you’ve got way too much spare time on your hands. Your statement is not backed up by relevant scripture. Where do you get this stuff? No evidence - mmmm, seems to be going around these days.
