Spaghetti and Garlic Bread Dinner

Decided on spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread for dinner.
It was really good. I love making my own garlic bread when I have time.
Was perfect and hit the spot. Now back to Netflix soon to see what I can find.

@CarolDM Me too. I can't imagine a meal without bread. When I’m not eating bread with a meal I seem to get hungry quickly... I just don't eat it with spaghetti

@LowRiderX We do not eat bread with pasta in Italy, we never do.

Looks good
One of my jobs in our kitchen, when we were fully open
, was making garlic bread.
I used to crush lots of garlic cloves, finely chop parsley then mix it all together with butter.
Then slice ciabatta bread lengthways and spread the butter over the bread.
Then we'd put the slices on trays in the fridge until the butter hardened then put it in a tub.
Before serving we'd heat it up in the own as it was or add cheese for cheesy garlic bread

Looks delicious! I want to try making my own too. I still have the spaghetti ingredients given by our city mayor because I didn't cook it yet last Christmas since I went to my sister's house for dinner. My son loves spaghetti with sweet sauce.

gotta've that garlic bread! goes perfect with such a meal. i confess i'd snow crab legs. i splurge'n such once a year. 'twas wonderful 'n sweet.

This is what I plan to have for our dinner tomorrow. But I will be using summer sausage instead and will be making my own sauce from fresh tomatoes. Something about a spaghetti being a comfort food after the rich Christmas foods that we have these past few days.
