Starting To Plan....

Hey everyone, how are you all doing? Well I hope. Like the title says, I am starting to plan.... What? First, my goals for 2021. Mostly diet related. I want to lose 80-90 pounds - of course I know I won't lose it all in 2021; but I want to get past losing and gaining the same 5-10 pounds. I want to get my blood sugars back under control; I know with how I have been eating the past 2-3 months my sugars are super high. I've been bad and been lazy about checking them. I want to get back to working out 4-5 days to start out; eventually 7 days a week if I can. I want to try to drink all the water I need to; these days I don't drink a whole lot of it. Non diet related - I want to try to become a licensed artist on Diamond Art Club so I can make money with my art. No idea how to go about that, but guess I should just contact them directly. What do you think of these goals? Do you have any for the new year?

Those are good goals and easily attainable. I hope you can become a licensed artist so you can earn money.

@MommyOfEli2013 That's what I do. Ten pounds at a time. I hope you do.

@just4him Much easier than trying to tackle the whole amount! Ten sounds like a good amount. Thank you, I hope too.

The 90 pounds not so much, but maybe I will break it down into 10-15 pounds at a time. Thank you, I really hope so...that would be awesome. I always wanted to make money with my art.

@MommyOfEli2013 As they say, "Just do it!" It's difficult at first, but gets easier when you get into the swing of things.

@DianneN Well I always seem to give up after 3-4 days....being a picky eater does not make doing low carb/keto very easy!

Thank you. And that is good to hear, that is a good idea. I have an ultimate goal like I said, but should make smaller goals, or maybe monthly...etc.

It's pretty good. I hope you can achieve all of your goals. I have many goals, but I think I will put my focus more on process. For example: Instead of making a goal to read 12 books a year, I'll make a habit to read a book min. 10 minutes everyday. So that I still can finish reading books.
