I had a piece of bad news before New Year's Eve. A cousin of mine dropped a bombshell. They are my late father's brother and his wife who got infected with this killer virus in LA, USA. No further news about them and I felt bad about it.
He is my uncle who never said sour statements against us.
To take a quick glimpse of what had happened early this year, my family and I ended our familial relationship with my old man's siblings. I do not want to reminisce the old-time stories since we had moved on. I just want to offer prayers to them and surpass this dreaded situation.
Any people in your bloodline got infected with this Covid-19?
Are you still in fear despite the availability of vaccines at present?

That's a pity! But in the US things seem to be a bit ouf of hand.
No friends or relatives have had it, the whole city is now at 4 deaths I think (which is less than in usual years, 'cause people don't die of the flu this year) so I'm mainly worried about being quarantined because of student etc. The numbers in general aren't too good right now, but the infection trackers here are brilliant so I think they'll sort it out. First vaccines for the old and sick arriving at Monday.

I hope they get fully recovered the soonest possible. The only thing we can do is to hope and pray that everything turns out well. Yes, we cannot relax until this pandemic is over. I feel so worried every time a new case is discovered.

God help your relatives, amen. Sorry to hear sad news. You know it's not so much as a fear but a fight against covid. In history, many countries went through epidemics too, to almost pandemics. Polio in America, plague in Europe etc.We will get through it. Don't ever give up, stay strong and pray. I pray nightly to be protected from covid.

LA, California has the strictest and longest lockdowns. But still, numbers increase by the day. I wish for your uncle and aunt's healing and recovery.
Praise God, we have fought through to the end. Our therapeutic practices and hygiene, even before Chinese covid, have been working. We are so grateful to God. Bless Him!
