Winter monsoon

According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), most part of Malaysia will experience northeast monsoon season, commonly known as the ‘winter monsoon’. During the time, temperature will drop and will be much more chilly than usual. Will my area be affected? I don't know. But we got rain tonight. Normally it's scorching hot for days to point that I think I've melt a bit.

We had rain since 1 jan until today 4 jan. Nights are super cold even with fan on had to wear socks, sweater and jeans ,!
