i will not, it will be as if i'm betraying myself in some sort. However, if i date him first before i work for him, then that will be a different story. :0)

I think it's immmoral. If I do it then I don't respect myself. Better position or salary should be decided upon to someones skills and ability and nothing else.

Even if I wanted to, I won't date my boss. That situation is too complicated for me. ^^

if it's for a higher position or salary, no... but if it's just for friendship purposes, yes. being greedy is so wrong and unprofessional

I would see nothing wrong with it in theory but would advise against it. For myself, I wouldn't be interested in having a casual relationship with my boss. Unless it was really serious I wouldn't want anything at all to develop. Can you imagine if it went wrong, having to see him every day if it all went wrong. Most guidelines for work places would say that relationships between colleagues are not encouraged, there are good reasons for this.

No I would not date one of my bosses for any of those reasons, because someone who would, would be a person of low character. and would be involved for all the wrong reasons, therefore the relationship would be doomed from the start not to mention it could be playing with one of the subjects emotions. Witch is just wrong.

No i dont think i would because as easy as he can give you that better salary he can take it away if something no longer works out his way .. its like he has something he can hold over your head .. not a good way to start something especially if there is no lust or love involved

Yeah, and he'll kick you outta there as soon as he doesnt need you anymore. That's tragic! I'm sure smart girls wont let that happen.

No way! First of all, I think office romance is tough. It's worse if things do not evetually work out & the couple splits. It may be awkward to continue working there.
It's worse if the person you are dating is your boss. Even if you are a really capable person & you get promoted with your own capability, there's bound to be lots of gossips about how you get to where you are and working life may become dreadful.

no, because:
1. if i would, then i have to be a gay (me and my boss are both man).
2. no matter how good is the position, or how big is the salary, i don't think they can compensate my effort of being a gay.
LOL

Yes- If you will marry your boss.
No - If you will not marry.
For Money and Power
Yes- If You work for money and power.
It depends why do you work for.
If work for family, your actions will not match if you work for money and power.
Your works will depend upon from where you have learn and what knowledge you apply on your day to day life.
It lots depnds on your education, and applications of what you have learnt over a period.

It really make sense. People have different kinds of intention for work. People who work for their family will certainly NOT do that because they will only thing about their family, how to make them happy etc. While the others might think dating a boss could be a stepping stone to higher level career. Thank for the comment!

chiquitita why u chose such a discussion..i think u r creating a public opinion..for that? but dont u know that..no one..even if it is u..will not say it openly..right? if such a dating was morally accepted by society ..i am sure..everybody will say openly "YES"..but fortunately or unfortunately..our whole world's morality dont accetp it..so...i am sure only males will reply it positively.

OH NO, I've said my statement that I wont date my boss whatsoever in my last thread. I didnt say anything to influence people to accept that kinda situation. I want to know what people think. I like analyzing different views. But this situation does happen in real life, and I'd like to know their views. It's that simple. So what's to be upset about?
