Just got off the phone with my cousin that has COVID. For those who followed my posts, she was in the hospital for six weeks. Discharged. Then was re-admitted again on January 2nd.
She came home after three days. Thankfully they were able to leave the catheter out. No kidney infection right now. Still on oxygen around the clock and in a wheelchair for now.
Home health nurses are visiting her at home. Rehab is coming in to help her with exercises to regain her strength.
This has been a long road for her and her husband. He had COVID before she did.
Glad to hear her voice. She is so happy to be home and sleeping in her bed.

She's blessed, that both of them have survived this hideous virus! The healing process is long for some, while others barely know that they're sick. One man experienced something like a head cold, it was COVID.

@CarolDM And with children, this virus acts totally different. They don't get violently sick, like grown ups do.

Thank you for this post and letting us know what is going on. I know I asked and you told me, but, this post tells me more. I am glad I came across this one. I hope she will improve each day and have the best people helping her get better. I bet she is happy being able to sleep in her bed. So is her husband ok now and they they have to be in separate rooms away from each other or can they be together?

@LowRiderX She is eating. Her main problem is her oxygen levels. Still on oxygen all the time.

@CarolDM She has to eat to regain her strength.. our former president was in the hospital and they let him go home after a while, however, he was hospitalized again. That is why I say that she must eat, at least by force, in order to regain her strength
