@star_disgate Exactly. No anything if you are nursing. I wonder if hot or cool compresses would help. I don't know much else to suggest.

Do you see a neurologist for this?
There are reasons for pain.
Some of mine is handled by heat, other by ice.
A menu that contains mainly foods that treat inflammation might be good to try.

Mine is from a herniated disc. Right now the doctor is treating and then I will go to a pain specialist again. We have to take these steps first though due to my insurance.

@star_disgate It is so terrible that you must jump through hoops to have this addressed. But, many of us do know that an insurance company will do these things. Hope you can endure while waiting for real help.

@PatZAnthony Exactly! Last time I saw a pain specialist, they wanted a more permanent solution but the insurance company wanted me to do this and that. The pain specialist said those things wouldn't even help and would irritate the pain more. The insurance would only allow me to be on harsh pain killers.

@star_disgate I hope it will be approved. I am a Physiotherapist and I think they can help you with this condition.

The doctor is actually doing a referral for PT. My insurance has to approve it.

Hot baths and medication for me. Trying to be active when I know I'm hurting.
