So recently there was this American girl who made a thread on twitter on how she moved to Bali
She's living and working in Indonesia without a work permit bcs it's cheaper, and that's so illegal.
She's also staying here illegally because her visa is only for 6 months while she has been staying for a year
She's not paying Indonesia taxes and she's promoting to use incorrect visa to slip in to Indonesia bcs our border is currently closed due to Covid, so many people can do the same like her. (Because she wrote and sell the book about it which provide visa agent)
Then when she get called out she pulled "The race card" bcs she's black.
It's not about racisms or whatever. Stop using your race privilege to win if you're just illegal human. We don't care about your colour tho.
Some American on Twitter keep defend her and said about racism in Indonesia. People are trying to colonize us, and they said we're racist.
Just go away from my country and pay the tax, we're not rich country but we are not stupid.

if she is ab american overstaying in indonesia and still earning a living, not paying taxes and also promoting how to get in illegally to live and work there, then she's corrupt, too, isn't she?

of course she's, she's working and over stay in indonesia, she claims she's living in Indonesia but she doesn't pay taxes for indonesia but she pay taxes for America gov because she earns money in USD instead of IDR.
and the dumb thing is that she shared these things on Social media, while promoting her book about how she move to Bali

Nothing racist here they really should have done the right thing... Granted they may be unable to deport them due to COVID closures...

This indicates the bad bureaucratic system of our country. All rules are easy to fix with money.

I think that she should renew her visa and live and work legally. That is the best way in all situations.
From what I have heard, Bali is a nice place, wonderful people and wonderful weather. It doesn't matter what your race is in the modern world, everybody should have the same rights regardless of race, age, etc.
