Bought myself a smartwatch

I have wanted one of these for some time. I've decided I'm not as healthy as I should be so this device will track my steps, sleep, blood pressure, calorie use etc. It says the battery will last 10 days and it will inform me each time I get a message or a call when connected to my iphone, I think it's got some sort of camera function too so I'm looking forward to getting it tomorrow to see what it can actually do. Has anyone else got one here? What do you think of it?

I never got one, I do my best to do some exercise every day and I know that my biggest exercise are the steps up and down in the house... I more or less know how many times I go up and down.

@sprite1950 I bought several and they are all stored in drawers, very possibly with the battery no more working.

@LadyDuck Yes that's the trouble when you stick them in a drawer and forget about them. I've done that with lots of gadgets too.

I've got a fitbit, which cost a fortune. Now they seem to be much cheaper with more functions. You can't answer the phone or restart your heart with my old fitbit.

This one will alert me to messages and calls but I like the health benefits best. It monitors my blood pressure although I don't know how accurate it is.

@sprite1950 Can they do that? It usually requires an armband and a pump. I'd be impressed if it did.

@Orson_Kart Yes they can, at least mine does. I compared it with my home monitor and the readings more or less tally.

I do not want a smartwatch. As far as a smart cell phone mine is pretty dumb.

That is a pretty one. I have a Fitbit. I like it, but once it wears out, I won't get another I don't think.

@paigea I do that too to see it it matches my smartwatch. I use an app that gives you points and then you can redeem them for vouchers.

No I haven't bought a smart watch. I hope that yours helps you with what you are needing. I look forward to a future post about what you think about it after you have used it for awhile.
