The photo shows some of my bird collection. I don’t have very many bird ornaments but I do like the ones I have. Vince, my husband, took the photo for a Facebook challenge on a photographic website.
The challenge was to take a photo without processing it at all after the shot was taken. The image had to be uploaded straight from the camera. Most professionals ‘touch-up’ their photos in some way so it can be a challenge to produce something really good with an initial shot. Of course, being able to tweak a photo so much post-click can make a person a bit lazy about getting the best photo they can first time.
In a few hours, we’re off to see Red Dog, an Australian movie. It’s being filmed for free at the amphitheatre in our little town. I’ve seen it before but am looking forward to seeing it again.

The only thing I do with my photos is to brighten them up. I have real birds - lots of them. enjoying our garden and the bird bath.

Photos I upload are all raw too - I do not know how to edit photos.

@JudyEv It’s good you know all about those. I only know how to rotate photos when they’re sideways.

@JudyEv I do the same all the time, I take out the SD Card from the camera, insert it in the computer slot and upload my photos... I know that you can upload to Facebook directly from the smartphone, but I believe that you need a computer if you use a digital camera.

congrats to mr. vince! he did'n 'xcellent job with lightin' 'n thus's produced a lovely vignette 'f yer lovely bird collection. the colors most vibrant, the details'n all crisp.
hmm, red dog...i think i've seen such myself? could be'n err though, the title does sound familiar. do hope ya'll 'njoyed the film. purty awesome they're showin' such fer free.

that is a really good picture. Birds like that are easier to own. They don't require constant bird seed!

@DocAndersen That's true but I do them regularly. I was told if you wash them, it delays the crazing that sometimes besets old ornaments. So mine get washed.
