Lullu, one of our cats is unwell. He was attacked by a cat and I think his backbone is hurt. He walks around, eats well but does not play as he used to.
The older twins are friendly with him and they are always seen with him. He loves their company as well.
Cats, like human beings, have choices. Have you noticed it too?

I have no plans to do that as I find him eating well, he does not show signs of pain but he has slowed on and that is fine I think.

@MsTickle I have had pets for several years and I know when to call a Vet and when not to. The Vet can do nothing as this brood of cats does not allow us to touch them. I did spray a medicine on his wound and that wound is healed. He eats, well, sleeps well, walks around The only thing he does not do is play around and that is fine by me. We lost our dog who was given drips by the Vet who came over as she had stopped eating. She lived a happy life of 12 years.

Yes they are. My cat Chilly and my late cat, Precious, used to be the best of friends, too. Sometimes they would cuddle with each other and you couldn't tell where one cat started and the other ended.

His movements are slow. He is looking after himself.

There was bruise on his back which looks ok as we had sprayed the medicine on that wound.

That's so sad to know the cat was attacked.
Anyway, yes, I noticed it too. I believe cats understand when human talk to them. And they live the want.
