I mentioned several days back about finding a new place where me and my children could stay. The place is within the city and accessible to the office and other commercial establishments. We transferred last Saturday and spent several days cleaning and repainting and unpacking our things.
Since we need to go to work, we could not devote more time in cleaning. Good thing my sister is available and she volunteered to do the painting job. The house is bigger than the one we previously had. I like it even more because there is a place where I can have a garden.
Still trying to figure out the proper arrangement of our things. I am excited to start gardening.

I think we will settle here for a while. This is a good place based on my observation being here for a few days. What made you decide to move out again?

@ARIES1973 Since it is pandemic, we decided to move to my mother's younger sister's house. She offered her place. I am not sure the final decision yet.

@porwest Well, it's really better to have our own home rather than renting a place. But for now, we need to be patient, work harder and save more so that we may be able to buy our own house.

looks like the door is solid wood.
how long will your commute time be now vs. the previous house?
do you drop off your son and daughter first?

It's the picture of the main door. Technically, the old place was nearer to our office (My son and my office are located in the same compound). But this one is nearer to my daughter's school. My son has his own motorbike so I would only drop off my daughter to school where she is teaching. But if she wakes up late, I need to go to my office with another route, the coastal road, which makes traveling faster because I don't need to pass through the main city road which is busy during the day.

We were just done with the cleaning and arranging our things. We need to buy a sofa as we were not able to buy this in our old place because of the limited space.

@Hytton03 Maybe I will only buy a smaller sofa as it might occupy the entire space of the living room. I am thinking, maybe a loveseat sofa is enough.

Thank you for the good wishes. I also hope this will be a good place for my family. Transferring from one place to another is difficult, time consuming and expensive.

You were very busy in making your new home a home. The new home sounds good for you. That is nice that your sister will do the painting for you.

Thank you. Yes, my sister is an architect and she did the painting job so well. I even told her that she can make a YouTube channel featuring those tasks that is normally done by men which she can do herself. She even installed the room's door knob.

You have a very handy sister and good for her. I hope she does the youtube channel too. Does she have any time to do more painting jobs or is she very busy with her designing places?

It is a great deal considering that this is cheaper than the previous one we had and with bigger space and a parking area for my car. The space for a garden is a bonus.
