'Have YOU ever tried to TALK with your textbooks' AUTHORS before?'

During my university days, I used to talk with my textbooks' authors. I am sure that some of you had done this before. If it is only me, then I am a one of a kind person. I did this silly thing because I do not want to be feeling bored reading them. If you have a terror teacher, you need to study more than three textbooks with only one topic. My classmates and I cannot refuse this because we will fail his or her exams or quizzes. Are you like me during your school days? Do you read aloud when reading books? Image Credit: i2.wp.com

@LadyDuck I agree. I find it weird to some of my classmates doing this in the library.

There are a couple of authors I would like to contact. I can't concentrate when I read out loud

I hope I will have the chance to have an autograph from them. I am sure I cannot do it with Agatha Christie.

I always read it silently, no need to yell.

It is my hobby to talk to myself. I cannot endure being with someone who reads aloud.

i wrote a chapter in two different textbooks when I was teaching - i spoke with many authors of the books over the time. Some of them are awseom@!

You are lucky to have some words from them. I had created a book but there is no chance to talk with the authors. So I haven't published it yet.

@DocAndersen I am considering it. I still need an illustrator to fully accomplished this book.

It was funny that some classmates of mine read aloud when studying. I always kept on turning them down for having a group study before.

@rhuenz The same thing here, so I never joined them in during my school days.
