Government offices are so slow

It’s not only BIR but SSS, LTO, treasurer’s office of towns and cities, etc. They usually have too many employees that ate slow to serve, comes late to work and takes very long break. I once had this experience in an LTO office where the cashier arrived past 9 but took her time sitting down and chatting with other employees while clients waiting were already profusely sweating. That’s the drawback sometimes of security of tenure.

Yes. They are on their own time. They also process a lot of people and as organized as they claim to be, often get more requests than they can handle. Rather then get better organized or hire more people to cover the various levels, they just slow down and make slugs sound like race horses.

Yes! I can't even describe how bad they are.

Here Government offices' working has improved in the last 2 decades due to reforms plus more use of computer systems. However corruption and other issues still remain.

Going to get a drivers license in my city requires a lot of patience to be waited on.

There is improve here because most of it is done online so there is no need to queue unless it's offline.

Oh yes, we go prepared for the wait. Even carry a snack, just incase you get hungry after waiting for several hours

I think it is very bad that you have to wait so long. We sometimes have to wait quite a while in places like a bank.
