It’s a sad Wednesday morning

"People don't come to visit me now when am alive, but when am dead, you will see them coming to my funeral in big cars ". Those were the words of my aunt everytime we spoke or visited. She repeated them over and over again as she ailed, and now she is gone, resting with the angels, and for a fact, this is what happens in real life. You get sick, very few visit you. You are in problems/trouble, very few will stand with you. When you are hungry and no food to eat, very few will feed you. Your next door neighbor cannot even knock on your door to check on you. Your own children have no time for you. But if you die, everyone will come out to bury you, and majority were not there for you when you were alive. Love me now. Stand with me now. Give me those beautiful flowers now. Take me out for a sumptuous meal now. Hug me now and tell me how much you love me and care for me now. Not when am dead and I cannot see or hear you.
Rest in peace aunt. We give thanks to God for your life.

That's reality but we should always see the beauty in life while we can.
