Rain Has Started For the Night

Suppose to have rain all night. Maybe an early mix of rain and snow in the morning. But it won't be much. It has been windy all day. The forecast is right on target so far.
Just had leftover tortilla soup for dinner. So good even on the second day. Made cornbread to go with it today.
A neighbor's trash can just went blowing through the yard. I hope they can find it when the rain and wind has stopped.

The weather can not make up it's mind here. I just want it to snow. Of course, I realize how many times I've said that. What's that saying about talking until someone's blue in the face and not making a difference?

@CarolDM Oh yes, I would gladly switch places with some of the people here who are detesting their snow. I know I would get tired of it too if I lived where they do year round.

We were supposed to get a wintry mix this morning but so far it's only been snowing. I'm happy that we don't have to deal with sleet, etc as the snow already on the ground is causing enough problems.
Your tortilla soup sounds good. We had broccoli cheddar soup for dinner and it hit the spot on a cold night.

Weather here has been ATROCIOUS. Cold, windy, rainy. I guess it could be worse. Could be snow or freezing rain. But it IS February, so nothing really unusual about this. Still, it's annoying. And this weekend is supposed to be downright frigid with a high of about 12. Yuck. Either way.
That tortilla soup still sounds delicious, and too bad about the neighbor's garbage can. lol

@CarolDM not here. In fact we once had to argue with the service at the other house and never did get the one they threw on their truck back nor a replacement
