Rain Turned to Snow Overnight

Started with a cold rain last night. Temperatures were just above freezing. Woke up to a dusting of white this morning. A few icicles as well. It is melting pretty quickly. I had to be careful out on the deck feeding the birds. Very slippery mess. Nice to see the white tipped evergreen trees in the backyard. And glad I can be inside where it is safe and warm. Snapped this photo from the door earlier.

Pretty pic. We had the same weather pattern here during the night last night or was that the night before? I guess last night was just the dusting of snow but the was a few icicles on the windshield.

Thats always a beautiful view to see, looked like that in CO after a snow. We are actually getting snow in TX today, everyone is so amazed with about 3 inches right now and going to snow through the night. We have no plows here so they are saying to stay home, good idea since no one in this town who was born here knows how to drive in it. I am from CO but I still don't go out because I don't trust the other drivers lol
