It's so darling! Makes me think of raggedy ann.
Oh no, I'm nowhere near the competence with crochet to make her, but I have her on my favorites for that day when I'm confident enough to crochet her. I want to get into amigurumi and crocheted dolls like this.
What do you think of her?

I think we had one when I was a little girl. I had a cabbage patch doll I know that, but I think we had raggedy ann and andy.

@CarolDM It really is and I definitely want to make her one day. I bet I could find a Raggedy Ann & Andy doll pattern if I really wanted to though.

She is adorable. I can see why you want to learn how to make them.

Oh yes. My mother used to crochet doll clothes for plastic dolls she'd piece together, but I'd like to know how to crochet my own.

@RebeccasFarm I just came across a goldmine of raggedy ann memorabillia.
My mom loved her dolls. I'm pretty sure they were hers because the only thing I can remember is her being very protective of them.

Oh yes. I think I know all the stitches required to make these but I need to be confident in working in the round and in tight spaces.

We had raggedy ann and andy. They were my mothers (I am sure) and were more for display than for play.

Wow, what workmanship. Etsy certainly has a lot of these crocheted dolls. Lots of love went into those.

@MommyOfEli2013 Yep, but one day I want to tackle it. Crafting sort of relaxes me I've found.
