We're going out for the afternoon

I never realised there were all these different types of events for horses. I think I would be happiest at the more sedate pace. especially from pub to pub!

I hope the weather will cooperate, no rain, but not too hot. Have fun taking photos.

So nice of you to be donating your profits from photo sales to the victims of bush fire. They must be needing some help very badly.

That looks like a lot of fun to do ! Back when I had horses, i used to go on a lot of trail rides, and I really enjoyed doing that. I lived in north Idaho when I was growing up, and there were a lot of mountain areas for us to go trail riding in. I belonged to a group of riders, called the Horseman’s Association, and we would all plan out the trail rides for the summer. I think that the best trail ride that I ever went on, was into Montana, and at the Bison Range. We went on Friday , camped out, sang songs around the campfire, and ate Buffalo Burgers at the local cafe. Early Saturday morning , the ride started, and we rode high up into the mountains and could look down at the bison herds in the valleys far beneath us. At noon , they brought us a picnic lunch, and then we rode back down again. Some people also camped overnight on Saturday after the ride, and then on Sunday, we all loaded up the horses and went back home again. It was a wonderful experience, and something that I will always remember doing.

I hope you can get a lot of profits from the photos. Then you can give more to the bushfire victims.

I'm sure you'll get some nice shots. As you say people will like photos of their horses - of course they can take their own but they won't often get any of themselves riding.
