Why the zero calorie coke?

I got a can from my combo meal. Honestly, not a fan of soft drink. So we'll see when I would drink this. But it makes me wonder, does it really healthy to drink zero calorie coke. It said it's sugar free, but it still soft drink, right? Won't there be side effect from drinking this?

@DaddyEvil the recipe that I try the most is chicken coca cola. I love the caramel taste of it.

Artificial sweeteners such as aspartame and saccharin may affect blood vessels and eventually lead to stroke and dementia. As early as 2017, a study by the American Heart Association pointed out: "compared with people who drink artificial sweet drinks less than once a week, people who drink such drinks every day are three times more likely to suffer from stroke or dementia."
