Chicken Cordon WTF

I swear, if I ever follow a recipe seas will part. Water will be found on Mars. The secrets of alien intervention will be revealed on the pyramids. Crop circles will be explained.
I took some boneless, skinless chicken thighs and seasoned them up with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, and browned them in a pan. I had six of them, so this will make three 'pieces.'
When the chicken was done browning I turned them upside down in a greased casserole. I put one slice of Swiss cheese on, then three slices of ham, then another piece of swiss cheese, then right side up put another piece of chicken.
Meanwhile, I made a mixture of cream of chicken soup, heavy whipping cream, and beef broth (since I did not have any chicken open but had beef). I made a liquidy mixture and poured that over the top.
I am now baking it for about 45 minutes to an hour, and despite everything, I think it should be pretty good.
It's NOT genuine chicken cordon bleu. So I am just calling it chicken cordon WTF.
What's going on your dinner table tonight?

@porwest There are many Pancit recipes online to choose. You can find some on Panlasang Pinoy website. Do you want the Pancit Canton version or the Bihon (rice noodle) version? You can mix both too in a recipe. What meat do you like in it? Pork, beef or chicken? So I will write for you. I will pm you when I have written this on my notes. See you later.

@Tina30219 Yep. Around here, winter is soup and casserole season. Always does the trick.

Well, this was not chicken cordon bleu in the finer sense of the description. For that one needs to take their chicken and pound it out, fill it and roll it, bread it, and do some other things to make it 'genuine.' This was a modified idea based on an established idea...
But it was DELICIOUS.

@porwest So how did it end up tasting?
Persian (Iranian) food - I love it - but I was exposed to a lot of it where I worked - and have been to Persian restaurants a zillion times. I suggest trying it a restaurant first to see if you like it before attempting to make it at home (after all, you did mention that you were rich and didn't mind to cheat ).

@much2say The dish turned out way better than I expected and is definitely a keeper. I will doing this one many times.
As for eating genuine Persian food before trying to make it home, this is probably a good idea, and yes, I certainly can afford it. lol
I guess it is best to compare my concoctions to the real thing before deciding what I think about it. lol

That looks and sound so delicious. My slow cooker had potatoes, zucchini, and cabbage in bouillon and made enough for the whole weekend,
