Winter isn't over yet, my little pretties! (Short post)

Hope you get much warmer

Yikes that wasn't very warm there. It was decent temps here yesterday too. Not quite as warm as what today might get to but better than your temps. What little you got might not do that much good I'm guessing? Talking about the snow.

@MarshaMusselman it might help that little ski hill we are going to. And it is going to be warmer today.

@MarshaMusselman We have some beautiful days, today is partly cloudy, but the sun is picking out from the clouds.

@LadyDuck even cloudy days when it's warmer outside are better than cooler days.

Must be nice.

On Feb 15 we got about 2 inches of snow and it did rain at least once after that but the sun evaporates all of it so fast even when it's just 70f @MarshaMusselman

That too bad. Did you have few this a few weeks ago or did you miss our? I don't remember.

I'm all for a slow melting so I don't get water in my basement if there's standing water eventually in the yards. So far the melting had been a certain amount per day. I do want to get rid of the remaining ice though.

@DianneN you mean you have no ice outside? The ice we have is minimal and the snow should provide a bit of traction. When the snow melts I'll see the ice again. Most of it is gone already. We may need to get out basement waterproofed one day but a drain guy told me to put did against the house to even up the ground and that should minimize or stop entirely any water from coming in.

@MarshaMusselman Our basement it waterproof and no ice! What a difference from Vermont!

That's good if your area doesn't need the snow. But bad if it does.

@Hannihar when you lived in the states did your live where they had snow?

@MarshaMusselman In winter we only need rain and I am glad we do not need the snow where I live.

It's not unheard of to get snow here into April. So yes we do. A lot melted today though but enough is still on the ground.

@nela13 that's true. There have been years when it snows one day and the next wee were outside playing in shirt sleeves but those are very rare.

@MarshaMusselman snow cam create very beautiful scenarios but it is also a lot of cold.

@MarshaMusselman For us, it seems spring often comes very early - too early sometimes. I wouldn't be surprised if summer weather came here in the next couple months.

@much2say we've gone from winter to summer several times in the past five to ten years before but when that happens all we see if sitting is the spring flowers perhaps if we're lucky.

Even if it didn't snow or no more snow was on the ground that wouldn't be enough for me to think our winter is gone. It would be nice butt I don't expect that just yet.

It looks like the day will be overcast but that could change later too. Even then it's already melting in the cars.

If it doesn't melt the same day it should shortly after that.

It's supposed to begin training here too unless the temps drop and then maybe more snow.

Sometimes as it can be pretty. But eventually it gets dirty from all the cars and traffic.

@Bubba90 Monday afternoon here. Blue skies but very windy. Ten degrees warmer than this morning but still fairly chilly out for me anyway.

@MarshaMusselman monday here, the weather is good and the sun is bright.

We may get more snow this afternoon and then rain tomorrow.

I think rain is due here tonight. It's warm enough for rain but what a mess that would be.

It's somewhat dreary here too but the sun mighty come out this afternoon.
