If you are not there early, you lose!
Our son was up early and out of the house early to get doughnuts from the best place in Connecticut 30 minutes away from us. They are rated the number one place by Condé Nast and in local sites and they are right!
He stopped by and delivered a box to us before 8:00 AM. We had just returned home from our morning walk and undid the good.
I just received a phone call from the place I have an appointment for my first vaccine at 5:00PM. They told me they can take me earlier. All I have to do is show up!

Nothing like a box of doughnuts. Enjoy! I like the kind with Holland Cream or peanut butter inside...but I wouldn't turn down any of them!

! What kind of doughnuts did you get 
? Ohhhh, how did the vaccine go? My parents finished up with the 2nd one on Saturday - they did not get any side effects except the sore arm . . . but they said stretching really helped to keep it minimal.

Oh - and my friend with a bunch of nurse friends said to drink a lot before and after. My parents did that - and I don't know if that did the trick, but certainly it helps to keep hydrated. Now, this I mean water, not martinis

Do you believe that kid?. We had a variety of powdered jelly and glazed and filled glazed doughnuts.
The vaccine was a breeze. I didn’t feel the needle and didn’t have any pain today. Glad your parents didn’t have any problems. I will remember that tip when I go for my second shot.

@DianneN Normally a new vaccine is tried and tested for years before it is available and that' s why but I have not yet made up my mind.

Did you enjoy a donut before leaving the house? I keep undoing my god too. I've been eating keto foods but enjoying a bit of water candy on the side. At least my weight is staying the same but I have to watch it and not overdue my previous weight loss.
Our pharmacy began it's vaccines on Friday. They did 800 in the first day. I expect to get called sometime this month.

@MarshaMusselman That's very different from what we did here. Our hospital network and the state let us know when the shots were available. I happened to get online to register and found a cancellation immediately and took it. It automatically goes to MyChart with my medical records.
