Last year, I started to declutter some of my books and sell them online. I was planning to buy rare local pocketbooks but since the pandemic started, I need to put my money on more useful daily needs. The books your looking at are one of the few left. This books are very important to me since it discuss about depressions and suicide. The first book entitled Mad World was bought four years ago. It is a story about a woman who took her own life. The second one-- Terrible Things is a story about a man who is suicidal. Both stories end well. The characters were healed and had a positive outlook on life at the end. When I get depressed I always read this two books. This books always remind me that life can be hard sometimes but there's always rainbow after the rain. Kudos to the author of this books!

If the author is still alive, you could send him/her a letter via the publishing house telling them what the books mean to you. I'm sure you'd made them happy.

I already did. There is this Facebook page that allow readers to review books and express their gratitude to the author. He was happy with the feedback.

some books have conditions like what we experience, this is one of the miracles of a book, especially novels, they exist to fill the emptiness of our hearts and we can even find the spirit to return to live after reading them. I also have a large collection of books at my house with various genres, I like the type of history and science fiction books, I hope I can add more to my book collection in the future and I will make it into a mini library

There are those authors who really experienced what they have written and so they really made it possible to picture and define the true feeling being portrayed or expressed by the characters.

I used to own a second-hand bookshop, and the previous owner told me that every book in the shop has a potential buyer for it. "There is a buyer, or a reader for every book." was the way that he put it. If we find the right books for ourselves, they can make a big difference in our lives for us, as these two did, and are doing for you too, in your own life.

a story that is a little like what we have experienced will immerse us in the story
