My niece's birthday

Yesterday my niece, who is also my God-daughter, turn 5 years old. She is a sweet little girl and it is the first time she celebrates her birthday with us. For those who don't know, she lives in Mozambique but now my sister is here with us because she had a baby in January. Today we still have cake for dessert as my sister bought a big one

and we didn't eat it all yesterday. She bought our favorite cake, chocolate and strawberries as my niece love it too. It is sunny here, it is a very pleasant day and I have spent some time in my garden. How is your day going? Picture of the cake

her lip is better but the cut sometimes opens a little. Today we had 18 degrees Celsius, quite pleasant.

@DianneN we put the gel every day but it's a very sensitive area. Tomorrow our temperature won't be so high.

That cake looks absolutely delicious. Happy Birthday to your niece! I like this layered dessert called Strawberry Pretzel salad. It's layers of jello, strawberries, whipped cream and crushed pretzels.
