Taking A Leap, You Would Not Know This...

Yesterday we were seeing on the news how three deers jumped over a moving car. Was that driver really surprised too. There were no road signs to warn about it either. Out of the trees they came and just leaped over his car like nothing. Reminded me of when I used to play Leapfrog but much higher than that. Luckily they were not hurt and I had no idea they could jump that high I have always thought of deer as being very timid except when they are into the mating thing. The driver was unhurt but startled yes out of his wits its not every day you see three deers jumping over your car in movement.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I'm so glad the driver didn't get hurt and the deers didn't get hurt either! Would have been a disaster.

One of those little miracles that happen and so glad it did too. It was amazing to see them jump over the car like that.

Yes that is really good that it happened to turn out well as they had a baby deer with them at the time. It seems they have no fear of those cars.

@nela13 I think that as well you know. They are well protected here in most places.

We have wild animals jumping into moving vehicles as well here and no sign as well. Most of them are wild boars. Some drivers were seriously injured after crushing into them.

Wild boars those are here too but quite timid and you almost never see them and they are hunted quite a lot so not seen very much on main roads at all. Sorry the drivers got injured wild boars are very strong powerful animals.

We have a lot of deer here and yes they can jump that high. They will run across the highway or street without hesitation. My son in law hit on recently that darted in front of his car and the deer ran off into the woods but his car needed a lot of repair.

Wow, I did not think that they could be so powerful in that sense as you always see them as being so delicate. You should have seen those three jump.

@Marilynda1225 Our dog never ever had any road sense either its the same kind of thing I always had to run after him to get him back. Wild deer are bound to behave in such ways I reckon.

@lovinangelsinstead21 they do look like delicate creatures but they have no sense when it comes to running across streets. It's amazing to see how high they can jump

Our friend's dashcam caught footage of a kangaroo leaping their car. It clipped the corner but bounded off unhurt. It would be very scary indeed.

I guess there at least it would seem to me to be more common to have a roo crossing the road than a deer over in this country they are usually animals that stay right away from humans.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I must admit I don't associate Spain with deer.

@JudyEv There are a lot of them here except that its rare for you to really find them except if they are kept in one of those Parks they usually have.
