What the heck?

Why does my sink make a gargling, bubbling noise when the clothes are draining in the washer? It just recently started doing this.
Does it mean something is wrong? Should I be concerned or just leave it be?
I know we will need to replace the washer and dryer soon, but I am hoping it will be later rather than sooner because we can't afford it right now. Our washer leaks and the dryer takes so many cycles to dry one load.

Odd...
I don't know what to tell you.
My sink does this when the dishwasher is running, but they're hooked up together or something (I don't know, I let the men folk work about the appliance installation)

I don't understand it. I hope it's nothing to worry about. We really can't afford a new washer and dryer set right now.

@AngelisaQT I would want to find out, just so I don't cause more damage / more repair work needed. I hope someone here can give you an idea.

@ScribbledAdNauseum If it's the sink that needs repair then the apartment complex will fix it.

You're starting to get a clogged pipe. It might keep draining for months yet, but you will need to have it looked at sometime in the future.
Wait a minute, what do you mean your dryer takes many cycles to dry one load? Do you mean you send the clothes through a full dry cycle that should have dried them but have to send them through the whole cycle again?

@AngelisaQT You need to IMMEDIATELY check the hose on the back of your dryer! When that starts happening, there are two things it could mean. Either the hose if full of dryer lint, which means it could catch on fire OR it means the heating unit in your dryer is going out. The first one is a scary possibility! The second one just means you'll have to have a new coil put into your dryer. But you need to check that hose before you use your dryer again!

@DaddyEvil We're actually drying clothes right now. After they're done we will check the hose. That is scary!

Yes, we have to dry our clothes 3 to 4 times before they are dry.

I hope you are saving for new ones. It sounds like they are ready to give out.

We don't have anything to save right now. If we do get new ones it will be rent to own. That is how we get everything.
