Today, as I was cleaning up my room, I came upon a bill from the grocery store in Aruba. The grocery list, that one at least, was very different from the online list now during pandemics. The list had 3 different kinds of cheeses, pistacchios and other nuts, crackers and liquor. Probably we went to buy that with our friends after the evening at the beach and as a preparation before a wonderful serial that Humberto had brought about the French revolution. Every night Dixie fixed the technological part. Humberto was the barman and I cut up the cheeses, placed the nuts in small dishes and crackers in others. Now Aruba is in another planet. Even our friends are away. Dixie will take me next Wednesday for our second dose of the vaccine, she will then come here to help me with my apricot brandy and then we agreed not to see each other for 2 weeks, until the vaccine worked (if it does). Mylotters, I HATE THE COVID!!!

I hate Covid too and so sick of even hearing the word. I am trying to just live my life and try to get back to my normal way of living but at home of course. I do not get out and about anyway.

Aruba has placed many restrictions to tourists. I don´t blame that.

@JudyEv Aruba closed its frontiers to South America some time ago. I hope they discover that not all countries are the same. We are now sending free vaccines to Ecuador as a way of helping.

I don't blame you. I am sick of hearing about it, myself. I've avoided facebook and social media in general. As well as the news. I just don't need the thing drilled into my skull.
