My Internet Was down All Night.. Was Yours?

My internet was down since 11 p.m. last night. I worked online all day anyway so I went to bed. I woke up at 3 a.m. and checked and it was still down so I went back to bed again.
I guess they had server issues. I use Frontier.
When I got up at 7:45 this morning, it was back up and running but it just went down again about 10 minutes ago and just came back up for me again.
Was your internet down too? If so, how long was yours down and which provider do you use?

I use spectrum.
I think a friend used to use frontier and had problems with them? Either way, spectrum will go down sometimes, but they try to get back up within the same day.

@stephcjh I hope they get it fixed. Maybe there's lines down in your area or something.

Thanks. It's fixed now. I am using it. It was down all night long though.
How are doing today? I am so busy with so many things. It is hard to stay focused on one thing right now.
Going to be a hectic day. I can already tell. Has been all morning and still have things to take care of.

That is awfully hard when our internet goes down and I need to work on the computer. One day I was in the middle of something and then all of a sudden it was pitch black and nothing. After a while it came on and then went off right away and then after a while it came back on again and was on. I have no idea what happened and why. I hate when that happens if you need your computer or if you need electricity.

Yes. Exactly. I needed to work but couldn't. I was in the middle of working online actually when it went down.
Oh, and I hate to be without electricity too, especially if it is hot outside. I have battery operated light in the house for lights but I cannot take the heat and humidity.

I was also in the middle of doing something on the computer when all of a sudden everything went black. I checked our fuse box and it was fine and then checked the light for the stairs and did not work so knew the whole building was out and not just here. When it is hot it is very hard because if you have fans or air conditioner to be without is very hard. It is also hard in winter when the electricity goes off and no heat whatsoever.

Thanks. Me too. I wanted to work just a little bit longer last night but wasn't able to. Sure busy today though. Very hectic trying to catch up on things.

Mine was down a few hours maybe, today but it was because I moved my desktop into another room. Mine was from user (me) error. I got it working again before supper.

My router was down. No signal to it so it was an error with my internet service provider.

@stephcjh sometimes when they happens to us we reboot our computers a and it then works again. We don't know why.

Good that you got it back. Do you always get up around 3 AM and check to work online?
Ir seems that your Internet too needed a long rest and so it also slept in the night.

@arunima25 Yes. I know. I have Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis as well. Those keep me awake as well.

My Internet comes from Xfinity and very very rarely goes down.

@stephcjh oh i see... .. o yeah hotspot thing helps me a lot ... because my Wi-Fi has a different mood swings most of the time they are off

I had no issues with my internet. I used to have problems with it going off for like 18 hours at a stretch, but I think they put up some new satellites and since that time it hasn't been an issue fortunately!

It may have been but I was asleep. I only use the internet during the day. Maybe they were doing some maintenance or weather problems.

Yeah. It was definitely something. Weather was good here but maybe not some place else that caused it.
