I used to own a fire extinguisher for the home for years. I threw it out after some time though because I seen an old one explode on a news channel anchor before.
I need to buy another one so I added one to my Amazon cart while ago.

@stephcjh You need to do what you nd to make you feel safe. My house burned down 25 years ago so I feel like lightning doesn't strike twice and now my wiring is all first class.

@LindaOHio I hope I can figure it out because if I need it, I would not have the time to figure it out.

I am not sure if there are different expiration dates for them or not.

We have one for each floor of apartments! Not enough but better than none!

An old one is in an easily accessible place. it's behind the refrigerator. We should get some new ones too.

We did or do. Probably need to check it or get another. I know my mom in law got rid of there several years ago because they were no longer good, took them to the fire department to be checked. That's why I can't remember if we still have one or not, I can't remember if we got ours checked back then or not.
