I am writing these lines according to my experience or can say trying to write. Think upon it and say what you think about money, how much important is it in your life?
Friends, money in most important in life. When you see your mother worrying for the cost of medicine instead of her health, then you will know that money is important, when people make an assessment of your status with your clothes, then you will know that money is important, when you cant fulfill the needs of your children, You will then know that money is important.
Some people says that you can only buy food with money but cant buy hunger, You can buy medicine but not health, money can buy a bed but not sleep. Hunger, sleep and health are not meant to be bought. God has given these three for free. But remember, when there is hunger and there will be no money in your pocket, when you want to sleep and there will be no bed and roof upon your head to sleep, when you will be sick and no money for treatment, then you will realise that money is most important in life.

Money, of itself, is of little importance. It is what it represents that is important.
Some people can live in a self-sustaining way, but not many can do this, these days.
In the long past, there was no money, and people just lived together, sharing all they produced.
Money cannot be eaten, nor breathed, nor can it be used to clothe ourselves with, literally speaking.
Money can buy all of these things though, so it is very important to have some.
Money is a means of exchange, that's all.

@innertalks You are right "Money cannot be eaten, nor breathed, nor can it be used to clothe ourselves with" but we can buy all with it.
Too much of money is maybe not necessary, but money is important to fulfil our essential need.

@Bhaskarjhborah Yes, money is necessary these days, but I was trying to say, that it's more a means to an end, albeit an important one, rather than the end itself.

I wrote this post from my own experience. And the person who does not have this experience cannot understand the value of money.

@May2k8 You are right. In Today's world, we need money for the sake of happiness and health. Because a hungry stomach cannot remain happy. Also hungry stomach can cause illness. So Money is necessary to fill your stomach.

Money is a resource to get the things we need. Other than that... It has little to no value. Money can cause others to be greedy. It can cause some to overspend on material things they really don't need. It can be used to extort people. It can be used to degrade people. Used unwisely... It can destroy your life.
