Fresh Loaf Homemade Bread

Was looking through my pantry and noticed I need to order more bread mix. I use it in my bread machine. And have not used it lately.
Today was the day. Decided to make a loaf. The house smells like a bakery.
Nothing like homemade bread. My mother and grandmother always used their hands to knead the dough and bake it in the oven.
I did that for awhile. Until I got this bread machine. And now it is too easy to make homemade bread. Will have soup with it later for dinner.

That bread looks heavenly. As much as I've had zero appetite for the last 3 weeks, that certainly looks delicious, and is actually making my stomach growl!

My aunt took my mom's bread machine when we were packing up her possessions. I think she said it ended up breaking a few months later.
I haven't made my own bread, but I want to try my hand at low carb bread. Nothing like fresh bread.

@CarolDM My daughter Claudia has a bread maker. I´ll ask her to lend it to me for a while and teach me how to do it.

I love the smell of freshly baked bread. My aunt used to own a bake shop and i would normally go there and stay with her bakers as they bake the bread. Sometimes i would even help.

Having your house smell like a bakery is so cool, I think.
I've never made homemade bread at my home before. I just go out and purchase bread at the grocery store.
Maybe I'll try making homemade bread at my home at some point in the future. It sounds like a good idea to me.

I have a bread machine I got from a customer long ago. I wonder whether it would work for keto bread recipes. Possibly not but I'll keep it in mind especially if any need kneading.

The loaf looks wonderful.
I had a bread machine, but I got rid of it because it was much too easy to make up some bread.
I used to make bread from scratch, the last time that I did it my back was bothering me and he had to do the kneading. I love baking bread from scratch.

I used to set my breadmaker & coffee machine for when I got up in the morning. The smell of freshly cooked bread and coffee wafting up the stairs is amazing!
